Spring Cacao Ceremony and Forest Bathing

Now that spring has finally sprung, join us for this beautiful cacao ceremony that can open your heart and help you connect more deeply with nature. Participants will be led through a traditional cacao ceremony and then guided through a forest bathing experience to connect with the more-than-human world. Come and learn about how cacao and forest bathing can facilitate empathy, compassion, and healing by using your senses to pay attention to what is happening all around you in nature.

* Cacao is a gentle plant medicine and does have some contraindications. Please see the list below and discuss concerns with a physician:

Heart issues, taking SSRI/MAOI medication, pregnancy, or nursing. 

**Walks are held in the forest and may include standing, walking, breathing exercises, gentle stretching, sitting, and lying in the forest (if you choose) where participants may encounter natural hazards such as tree roots, mud, slippery leaves, branches, insects, and plants. Additionally, forest bathing can be an emotional experience as we slow down and connect. This is a normal reaction, and all emotions are welcome in this space.
